My name is Anna Rahimian and I am a qualified children and young people's counsellor, working in Edinburgh. I have been working therapeutically with children for the last 10 years, initially training as a social worker at Edinburgh University before going on to qualify from Queen Margaret University as a Children and Young People’s Counsellor in 2016. Alongside my private practice I am the manager of a Counselling and Therapeutic Support Service that supports children across Edinburgh. I am passionate about giving children and young people a space where they are heard, valued and understood and helping them to find the strength to overcome the difficulties in their lives in order to fully thrive.
I am a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP). I am bound by their Ethical Framework for Good Practise and am subject to their professional conduct procedures.
